He kissed her nose, just because, and led her back to the main building where they grabbed some bread and jam and went back to their room. Once there, he stripped down to his underwear and undershirt again, taking bites of the bread.
Perhaps they'd get more chances to come out again, she thought, quiet on the quick trip to procure food, and back into their room, where they could really relax. She sat at the desk, toeing off her boots as she took a bite, only just realizing how hungry she really was.
"I'll be fine." He downed the rest of his snack and then went to the small bathroom attached to their bedroom. He came out a few minutes later and got into bed. The sun would be rising soon. He'd have a full day ahead of him as he tweaked and adjusted his new droid before it's fit for missions and assignments.
Unless her attention was needed elsewhere, she'd be assisting once again. Now, though, was meant for finishing her jam and bread, and undressing, and cleaning up a bit before lying down, which she did as quickly as possible, curling up close, as usual, grateful for the comfort of the contact. "Ready?"
He turned out the lights when she finally got into bed and wrapped his arm around her. "Mhm." He kissed her forehead in the dark and closed his eyes, the fatigue catching up with him.
Warm, safe, comfortable - it didn't take much time at all for Jyn to follow. It would be time to wake up too soon for her comfort, so it was best to enjoy these too-few hours as much as possible.
